At House of Play, we want you to feel confident and obsessed with your pieces💗 If the fit, size or style isn’t the perfect match for you, you’re welcome to return your order within 14 days of delivery for an exchange, store credit or refund, provided the items meet our return requirements and are returned in their original condition.
RETURN SHIPPING FEE
A flat rate of R100 will be deducted from your refund, store credit, or exchange value to cover the return courier cost. House of Play will cover the courier cost of sending your replacement item back to you.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must:
- Be returned within the approved return period.
- Be unworn, unused, and unwashed.
- Be in the exact original condition in which they were received.
- Have all original tags attached and in their bags.
- Be free from stains, marks, odors, fluff, pet hair, damage, or signs of wear.
RETURNS WE CAN'T ACCEPT
For hygiene and quality control reasons, House of Play reserves the right to reject any return that is not received in its original condition.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Makeup marks or fake tan marks.
- Deodorant marks, perfume, detergent, or fabric softener scents
- Pet hair, fluff, lint, or excessive pilling
- Signs of washing or Fabric damage caused by washing
- Stains or marks of any kind
- Garments returned dirty or not in a clean condition
REJECTED RETURNS
If a returned item fails our inspection, we reserve the right to reject the return. In these circumstances no refund, exchange, or store credit will be issued. The item may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. House of Play reserves the right to provide photographs of the inspection findings as evidence of the rejection.
WHY WE HAVE THESE STANDARDS
Returned garments must be suitable for resale as new. If an item has been worn, washed, carries odors, contains fluff or pet hair, or shows any signs of use, we cannot resell it to another customer while maintaining the quality standards House of Play is known for.
FAULTY ITEMS
If you believe you have received a faulty or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photographs and your order number.
Items deemed to have a genuine manufacturing fault will be replaced, exchanged, or refunded at House of Play’s discretion.
Please note: Faulty or defective items must still be returned in their original condition for inspection. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and have all original tags attached and in their bags. We are unable to accept items that have been worn, washed, altered, or are not returned in the condition in which they were received.
Once the item has been inspected and the fault has been confirmed, House of Play will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
Items bought on sale or at a discounted price may be returned but the refund or exchange value will reflect the discounted price that the customer originally payed and not the current price of the item(s).
FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS
Items purchased during clearance sales, final sale promotions, or marked as non-returnable are not eligible for refund or exchange unless the item is faulty. Please double check your order before completing your purchase.
